Bringing the Holiday Cheer for Ring across Europe

The Challenge

Who said all of Santa’s helpers were elves? Since the early days of Beacon back in 2018, we have collaborated on an annual seasonal project with Ring to concept, source, fulfil and distribute themed Christmas gift boxes to thank suppliers, employees, and partner retailers like Argos, Currys, B&Q and Costco, across 15 countries. 

The packages aim to go the extra mile and boost morale, strengthening partner relationships and thanking everyone for all their hard work and ongoing support and collaboration throughout the year.

The Solution

The 2021 Christmas theme brought together Ring branded mini Jenga, playing cards, socks, Christmas crackers, snacks and drinks curated to enjoy a games night with family and friends. We meticulously crafted and dispatched 600 individually personalised gift boxes to retailers and employees, ensuring timely delivery. 

For 2022, we opened up the floor to agency-wide collaboration, and the entire Beacon team got involved with concept development and brainstorming. 

Together, we landed on the idea of sending out sweet treat baking boxes, which included a bounty of goodies like gingerbread houses (complete with sugar decoration Ring products), a hot chocolate set, branded spoons, and aprons. Plus, a recipe book written, designed and compiled by our in-house content and creative teams, featuring a festive recipe from every country on Ring’s partner list of retailers. 

The Ring Christmas projects seamlessly integrate across every part of the agency, from strategy and creative, to content, operations and logistics. Our strategy team officially kicks off the project in June each year to maintain momentum and stay within budget. 

Witnessing Ring enriching hundreds of Christmas celebrations was the epitome of our success. Retailers and employees frequently post heart-warming stories about their gifts on social media, which not only boosts engagement but spotlights Ring as a company that gives back to its team.

The Outcome

  • 16 countries

  • 102 different retailers/accounts

  • 250 boxes total

  • Boxes were for Ring Retail, Ring Pro, Ring PR retail partners and suppliers, as well as providing a few boxes for the internal Ring team
